European School for Interdisciplinary Tinnitus Research (ESIT)

Today it is time for the presentation of our next Industry Partner: Sivantos Group in Germany.

Tinnitus usually goes hand in hand with hearing loss. This is why, for many years, Sivantos has developed and integrated specific therapies.
Sivantos is one of the world’s top manufacturers of hearing aids. In fact, they can be proud to develop and manufacture one out of every four hearing aids being used worldwide.
The company offers hearing aids from different brands as well as complementary accessories, fitting software, smartphone apps and diagnostics workflow solutions are also part of its portfolio.

One of our students will be able to do a secondment discovering Sivantos from the inside.

„ESIT will take the science of understanding tinnitus and developing effective solutions for its treatment to a new level. Sivantos is looking forward to playing a supporting role in this international research project to improve the quality of life of people living with tinnitus”, says Ronny Hannemann, Audiology engineer at Sivantos.
We are glad to have you on board!

We would like to better present our partners in European School for Interdisciplinary Tinnitus Research by providing some information about their contribution and hearing some of their voices towards Tinnitus and the ESIT project.
Today we start with one of our industry partners.

Bee Group

BEE Group AG, situated in Switzerland, is home to leading companies in the emerging field of advanced uses of the electroencephalogram (EEG) for medical applications. They contribute to diagnostics by discovering, approving and validating EEG biomarkers, also called neuromarkers, as well as tools to utilize the so-won information. They are developing clinical devices and software for neurofeedback for therapy measures.

Our contact, Mr. Bernhard Wandernoth, about the participation on ESIT:
"We are excited to contribute our 32 years of clinical and technological experience in neurofeedback, as well as more than ten years in EEG-biomarker research, to this exciting programme!
