Originally planned as a face-to-face training event at the ESIT partner institution KU Leuven, our most recent workshop, the ESIT - Nature Digital Masterclass was carried out online, with active participation by ESIT PhD candidates, their supervisors, and several other external partners from our wide network in tinnitus research.
This has been an exceptional opportunity for all participants to gain new insights into the scientifc writing and publishing process, and to interact directly with editors of the high-ranking scientific journal Nature, providing valuable background information and personal tips. This was especially done through an individual abstract review session with each participant who had the chance of submitting an abstract beforehand, to be evaluated and discussed personally with a journal editor.
We very much thank everyone involved in the planning and re-planning of this event, and are certain it has been a unique and fruitful learning experience for all!
