ESIT, in cooperation with Prof Jan Bulla from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Bergen, Norway, were delighted to organise an international training workshop on the innovative statistics platform "R" that took place from October 22 to October 30, 2019, in Sitges, Spain!
Besides our own ESIT PhD students, many other Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) were invited to this exceptional training and networking opportunity, especially PhD candidates from the MSCA ITN consortium TIN-ACT, also researching interdisciplinarily on the condition of tinnitus, as well as individual PhD students from institutions throughout Europe, post-docs, and Prof Jan Bulla's research assistants from Bergen, who greatly assisted throughout the entire training.
Throughout this intensive and exceptional workshop, new insights were gained by everyone taking part, and lasting connections between the ESRs and organisers were formed, which we look forward to intensifiying, scientifically and personally, in the time to come.
It was our great pleasure to plan and put this rewarding workshop into reality, and we'd like to thank everyone involved for their outstanding and invalualble contribution. We're already very much looking forward to the next event!
