In their yearly report on the period 2017/2018, the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR), a public-private partnership research support agency initiated by the Bavarian government to guide and assist researchers, universities and other scientific institutions with funding possibilities and applications, published a report on ESIT that highlights our interdisciplinary approach to training highly educated and motivated PhD students in the relevant area of tinnitus, affecting up 10 % of the European adult population:
