All of our early-stage researchers are now appointed and are just at the beginning of their PhD journey. Getting to know one another is an essential part of this journey. So all of our students gathered together in Warsaw, hosted by Dr Marzena Mielczarek, Medical University of Lodz. The week was intermixed with an orientation to the unique ESIT programme, designing aspects of the future training curriculum, team building, and expert introductory lectures.
